I am a little behind reading my mail, so you may have gotten this already.
In May the American Library Association sponsored a really fine teleconference
called "Achieving Breakthrough Service in Libraries". It was four hours long.
I understand they will condense it for a videotape version. Though it is not a
total training package unto itself, it contains material that would be
invaluable for staff training. There was also a manual for the teleseminar
that could be very helpful to you. I suppose the best way to find out the
status of the videotape is to call ALA. If they can't send you a manual, let
me know and I will let you borrow mine.
